Specialty coffee insipired by the traditional "Torito de Pucara".
Packaging, illustration and branding for Rumimayu, a specialty coffee brand built around a Caturra, Catimor and Bourbon blend.
Specialty coffee branding tends to lean minimal and clean, but interchangeable with a hundred other bags on the same shelf. Rumimayu wanted to feel distinctly of its place instead of generic.
The bull long tied to Andean festivals and folklore carries the brand's warmth, illustrated with textile-inspired floral patterns across its body and a coffee cup worn like a nose.
The illustration wraps the full bag face, with the blend breakdown (Caturra, Catimor, Bourbon) called out on its own tag so the character stays uncluttered.
